Fulfill the Promise for Tennesseans with Developmental Disabilities

Throughout Tennessee communities, people with developmental disabilities other than mental retardation have almost no programs to assist them. With your help, these Tennesseans can finally obtain the services promised in 2000 when state laws were changed to make people with developmental disabilities eligible. Now is the time for Tennessee to Fulfill the Promise!

I am interested in becoming a volunteer to help Fulfill the Promise. I am willing to help in the following ways:
Meeting with my state Representative and Senator
Setting up a group meeting with other interested persons and state Representatives and Senators in our area
Participating in a group meeting with other interested persons and State Representatives and Senators in your area
Writing or emailing my state Representative and Senator
Calling my state Representative and Senator
Sending a postcard (to be provided) to my state Representative and Senator
Talking to other persons with developmental disabilities or their families to ask them to volunteer for the Fulfill the Promise campaign
Sharing my personal story to be used on the Fulfill the Promise campaign website and with legislators. (Stories can be submitted anonymously.)
